Getting the dust off

Well. It's that time of year. The time of year where I pretend to get the blog going again. This time I'm feeling like it should really happen though, since the baby will be arriving in a few weeks and folks are going to want to know about it. A blog seems like a pretty universal way to get the word out to everyone. That's the plan. We'll see if I stick to it. Thoughts?
